A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements, support customer requirements, and ensure compliance with ISO standards across plant operations. A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements, support customer requirements, and ensure compliance with ISO standards across plant operations. This role is highly cross-functional, partnering with manufacturing, engineering, and customers to solve problems, improve processes, and elevate product quality.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the key liaison between customers and internal teams on quality requirements and issues
- Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Analyze and present data (SPC) to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with engineering on new product launches and validation processes
- Monitor production through audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Travel to customer/supplier sites as needed to resolve quality concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems
- Experience with SPC, TQM, DOE, and continuous improvement (Kaizen)
- Proven problem-solving skills in a production setting
