Credit & Collections Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field? We are seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to join a collaborative team where you'll play a key role in supporting customer accounts, managing receivables, and helping drive business success.

What You'll Do
Collections & Customer Account Support
- Manage commercial accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Partner with internal sales and account management teams to resolve account inquiries
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer disputes
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Monitor account activity and help reduce delinquency and bad debt exposure
- Review credit applications and requests from new and existing customers
- Evaluate creditworthiness and recommend credit limits and account terms
- Monitor credit alerts and account updates to identify potential risk
- Assist with order approvals and account maintenance activities
- Support compliance with applicable credit, lien, and bond requirements
- Work closely with sales, account management, and finance teams
- Assist with reporting, account updates, and special projects
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Previous customer service, accounts receivable, collections, banking, finance, or administrative experience is preferred
- Must be open to a 10am-7pm schedule, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
