CNC Machinist III
Job Description
We are seeking experienced CNC Mill and VTL Machinists to join our client's growing manufacturing team. This role requires a highly skilled, self sufficient machinist who can independently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment while ensuring parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and to customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with various metal components, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and precision.
Responsibilities• Set up, program, and operate CNC Mills and Vertical Turning Lathes (VTLs)
• Produce precision machined components according to customer specifications and engineering drawings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues to maintain production quality
• Inspect completed parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Work independently while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience
• Experience with CNC Mill and/or VTL operation, setup, and programming
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience machining various metal components to tight tolerances
• Ability to work independently in a job shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
