Duration: 6 month, potential to convert to perm
Location: Onsite in Irving, TX
Compensation: $17-$20/hr
Schedule: multiple shifts available, see below
Sat-Tuesday: 6am-5pm
Thur-Sun: 7am-6pm
Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm
Mon-Fri: 1pm-10pm
Mon-Fri: 6am-3pm
Wed-Sun 8am-5pm
Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Admin to support daily logistics and distribution operations in the warehouse. This role is heavily focused on data entry, reporting, inventory monitoring, customer communication, and problem resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review reports and inventory records to identify discrepancies and operational issues.
• Investigate and resolve freight-related issues, including misplaced or out-of-place shipments.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding shipments, inventory, and order status.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and urgency.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and work cross-functionally to identify solutions.
• Track inventory movements and ensure records are updated accurately.
• Monitor shipment activity and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support day-to-day administrative operations within the logistics and distribution team.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1+ years of customer service, administrative, logistics, or related experience.
• Strong data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Must where steel-toed boots as this role takes place within the warehouse.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working with reports, inventory systems, or shipment tracking tools.
• Previous experience handling customer escalations or resolving service issues.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field.
Compensation
$17/hr to $20/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
