Outpatient Pharmacist | Garryowen, Montana

This opportunity is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations at a Tribal Hospital in Montana, located approximately one hour from Billings. The role offers a unique experience working in a community-focused hospital setting with a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in both inpatient and outpatient environments
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies
• Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) to manage pharmacy workflows and patient records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients on medication usage and possible side effects

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy license from any state recognized by the hospital
• Experience working in hospital outpatient or inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficient with pharmacy IT systems; prior exposure to RPMS is beneficial but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts during the day
