Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Glendale, AZ. This full-time opportunity allows you to support students through specialized instruction in a resource setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team to help students achieve academic and personal success.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time
Start: Late July / ASAP
End: May 21, 2027
Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification required
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and special education compliance
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Arizona state standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Deliver targeted academic interventions in a resource classroom setting
Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
