Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time teletherapist opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Texas. This remote role supports school-based speech therapy services, delivering care and intervention to pediatric students through teletherapy.
Located in Harker Heights, TX, the position requires a valid Texas SLP license active by the start date. While prior school-based speech therapy experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The teletherapist will be supported by a paraprofessional facilitator during sessions, enhancing service delivery within the virtual classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality speech and language evaluation, treatment, and consultation via teletherapy platforms
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to pediatric clients’ needs
- Collaborating remotely with school personnel, families, and facilitators to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional and regulatory standards
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license required at the start of assignment
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Pediatric and school-based therapy experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage remote caseload
- Ability to work independently in a home-based teletherapy setting
