Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Proven experience working with preschool-age children, preferably in a school-based setting
  • Strong knowledge of communication disorders and effective intervention strategies for young learners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Ability to provide high-quality services on-site, with dependability and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to Pre-K students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for new referrals, interpreting results for caregivers and educators
  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities to foster communication development
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, occupational therapists, and other professionals to maximize student progress
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
  • Consult with families, providing resources and strategies to support speech-language development at home
