Qualifications/Skills Sought:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist (or eligibility)
  • Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports
  • Familiarity with IEP and 504 Plan processes
  • Strong communication skills for consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Ability to work across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Knowledge of current legal requirements pertaining to student services
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and revews to develop effective support plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to create positive learning environments
  • Consult with families and staff on student learning or behavioral concerns
  • Offer crisis intervention and help plan for prevention and early intervention
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Support staff professional development in understanding diverse learner needs
