Qualifications:
- Must have successfully passed the MN Para Educator Exam or have completed at least 60 college credits
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Strong sense of empathy, patience, and adaptability to support diverse learning needs
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in educational settings (preferred)
- Dependable, collaborative, and flexible in a classroom setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily classroom assistance under the direction of certified teachers and special education staff
- Support students with academic tasks, organization, and social-emotional skills
- Assist in supervising students during classroom activities and transitions
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with care and discretion
- Foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment for all students
