Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Onsite – Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday–Friday) with rotating Saturdays (2:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

Job Summary:
A manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day production operations. This individual will play a key role in maintaining equipment efficiency by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across a variety of manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Replace belts, bearings, sensors, cables, and perform motor changes
• Pull shards, extract and fix bolts, and complete basic mechanical fixes
• Conduct daily machine inspections and respond to equipment breakdowns
• Support production by ensuring machinery runs efficiently and safely
• Maintain a strong understanding of belt systems and belt tracking

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or mechanical role
• Experience supporting equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
