Special Education Teacher - Luling, TX

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification is required
• Experience working with elementary or high school students preferred
• Familiarity with inclusion or life skills settings is an asset
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to individualized student growth and data-driven instruction

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a caseload of students, ensuring their unique educational needs are met
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt and modify curriculum to support student learning and progress
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with all stakeholders

Position Details:

• Contract duration: August 12th, 2026 to May 27th, 2027
• 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Competitive hourly compensation at $40 per hour
• Work within supportive inclusion or life skills classes at the elementary or high school level
