Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in school-based (K-12) occupational therapy is highly desirable
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, support staff, and families
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Effective communicator, organized, and adaptable to varying student needs
- Passionate about fostering independence and boosting student participation in school activities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on students' unique needs and educational goals
- Collaborate closely with educators and parents to integrate OT supports into the classroom and daily routines
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Provide hands-on therapy services to help students build skills and confidence
