This onsite role spans multiple school sites within the district, offering meaningful engagement with diverse student populations from August 27, 2026, through the end of November. Working a consistent 35-hour week, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
  • Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable covering multiple sites within a school district
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt therapy approaches for different age groups and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to students across multiple schools within the district
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set appropriate therapeutic goals
  • Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school policies and professional best practices
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in the educational environment
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal guidelines, as well as district procedures
