This contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and requires the expertise of a certified school nurse committed to teamwork and flexibility.
You'll be responsible for efficiently managing the school health office, conducting thorough medical reviews, and contributing directly to IEP and 504 processes—all integrated aspects of the Certified School Nurse (CSN) role. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) with PEL endorsement for Certified School Nurse (CSN) required (beyond an RN license; completion of CSN courses is essential)
- Prior experience as a Certified School Nurse or within a school environment strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are highly valued
- Flexible, dependable, and collaborative team player mindset
- Reliable attendance; able to maintain consistency for students and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the school’s health office, ensuring a safe, responsive environment
- Complete student medical reviews accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing your healthcare knowledge to support student needs
