Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the school setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students' communication needs near Uniontown, PA. This role is set to run from 8/24/26 through 1/4/27 (dates subject to change) with a three-day-per-week onsite schedule at a local elementary campus. You’ll be instrumental in helping students thrive, collaborating with educators and other school professionals.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active and valid Pennsylvania SLP Educator Certificate required
- CCC-SLP credentials
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for a diverse caseload (TBD)
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation for student progress and IEP compliance
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Stay current with best practices, maintaining a caring and professional approach
