Special Education Teacher | Dearborn, Michigan

Step into a rewarding position supporting elementary students as a Certified Special Education Teacher, focusing on students with Cognitive Impairments (CI) in grades K–2. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education License with CI (Cognitively Impaired) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) endorsement
• Current or attainable CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification, with a commitment to annual renewal
• Experience teaching or working with early elementary students preferred
• Ability to develop and modify IEPs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with families
• Strong classroom management and conflict resolution skills
