\nOhioHealth Pickerington Hospital is hiring for a full-time, day shift registered CT Technologist in CT/Xray Department located in Pickerington, Ohio. The scheduled hours are 7a-5:30p, with every other weekend rotation. No weekend on call, will take call through the week (manager will discuss cadence).\n
\n
\nManager is open to training a licensed radiology technologist looking to grow into the CT modality. \n
\n
\nPerforms and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by Radiologic Association. This position prepares patients for examinations and preforms diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).\n\n
Responsibilities And Duties:
\nObtains patient clinical history for procedure.\n\nReviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.\n
\nAdministers oral and IV contrast media\n
\nOperates CT scanners for variety of procedures.\n
\nCoordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.\n
\nMonitors quality in patient care functions. \n
\n

\nARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health\n\nAdditional Job Description:
\nGraduate of an approved accredited radiography program. Registered with ARRT. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
