Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Sr. Quality Technician for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $28-$30/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Senior Quality Technician supports the O-Rings business by overseeing customer and supplier quality processes and ensuring adherence to established quality standards and work instructions. This position is responsible for supporting PPAP activities, maintaining inspection equipment, and leading investigations and corrective actions in partnership with suppliers.

  • Evaluate customer drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Develop customer PPAP documentation and coordinate supplier PPAP submissions.
  • Review supplier IMDS submissions and compile customer IMDS packages.
  • Arrange external testing and sorting activities as needed.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections and establish inspection methods utilizing quality measurement equipment.
  • Investigate customer complaints, drive supplier corrective actions, and submit 8D reports to customers.
  • Assist with the disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Support Quality Technicians with revalidations and inspections as required.
  • Partner with the Production Supervisor to train employees on quality standards and inspection equipment.
  • Provide updates on project status and communicate quality concerns with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Perform additional quality-related tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift

  • Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, with a working knowledge of GD&T and AIAG PPAP requirements.
  • Experience with rubber or polymer products is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with Automotive PPAP is preferred.
