Intensive DBT training is provided at no cost to the therapist, if the therapist is not DBT certified. No weekends and be done by 3pm or earlier on Fridays. As a DBT therapist at Family Service & Children’s Aid, you will be part of a team that provides DBT group and individual services to identified clients. Therapists also provide behavioral health services that help clients to attain and/or maintain recovery from substance use and mental health disorders along with assisting them with improving their overall well-being. FSCA is sought after for their trauma services. Qualifications for position are as follows: Master’s degree in Social Work or related profession, with State of Michigan licensure Experience as therapist working with children, teens, and/or adults. Experience in trauma, mental health and substance use, preferred. DBT certified (preferred) or willingness to attend intensive DBT training for adults/adolescents Willingness to obtain MCBAP credential (CAADC) for Substance Use Services. Agency covers fees and trainings associated with credential. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
