Job Description
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing operations, quality inspection, material handling, and palletization and a proven ability to meet production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety and health in all job duties.
- Load, pack, inspect, and palletize brick and gel under direction of Line Leads.
- Read work orders to determine quantities for stock and open orders.
- Follow instructions and arrange finished product onto pallets to meet quality requirements.
- Assemble parts, perform visual inspections, pack, seal, label, and stack finished parts.
- Use gauges, scales, and measuring equipment to verify specifications.
- Complete and maintain production and quality records.
- Perform routine minimal maintenance and report mechanical or electrical issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Demonstrate quality and safety in all tasks and participate in safety initiatives.
- Follow good manufacturing practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and quality instructions.
- Proficiency using gauges, scales, and measuring devices.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Background with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience in high-noise, temperature-variable production settings.
Physical Demands:
- Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds with a team lift occasionally.
- Frequent bending, standing, stooping, and grasping.
- Consistent manipulation of small parts.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
- Loud noise levels with temperature fluctuations based on seasons.
- Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas.
