Key Qualifications:

• Valid Child with Disabilities (B-age 5, K-8, or 7-12) (282) Certification
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with students, families, and fellow educators
• Commitment to creating differentiated lesson plans and adapting instruction to meet diverse needs
• Passion for supporting elementary-aged students with various learning disabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines and student needs
• Deliver engaging, adaptive lessons to students on your caseload while maintaining detailed records of progress
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to advocate for students’ success
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
