This full-time position, running from August 6th to May 14th, provides the chance to implement meaningful interventions and make a lasting impact on young learners at a single campus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommending therapy goals
  • Providing direct therapy services to PreK–6th grade students
  • Collaborating with teachers, special education teams, and families to support each child’s communication needs
  • Monitoring student progress and documenting therapeutic outcomes
  • Supporting classroom communication strategies and providing staff consultation

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Active or eligible Alabama SLP licensure
  • Experience working with early childhood and elementary populations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and school-based therapy practices
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills
