This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is set in a community close to Schenectady, NY, with a start date available as soon as July 27—or begin September 8 to align with the new school year. You’ll play a vital part in helping young learners develop essential communication skills and reach their full potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess and support students with a range of needs, including non-verbal communication, speech improvement plans, and developmental delays
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech therapy to preschool students onsite
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs based on student progress and assessment results
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations and progress notes
  • Consult with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities
  • Effectively engage families and caregivers in supporting student communication development
  • Stay informed of best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
