Step into a vital role supporting high school students in a collaborative educational setting, providing dedicated speech-language therapy services during the academic year. This part-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an SLP or SLPA with a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in school-based or educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to a caseload of 21 high school students
- Schedule consists of 24 hours per week, with sessions held once per week for each student
- Address communication needs by developing individualized therapy plans targeting specific IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with school staff and parents to support student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation within required timelines
