Physical Therapist - School Setting in The Villages, FL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist working with a diverse student population across multiple schools in a vibrant Florida community. This full-time role begins August 10, 2026, and runs through the academic year, ending May 28, 2027. You'll primarily support K-12 students, including some Pre-K, offering both direct and indirect therapy services within a collaborative team environment. Typically, you'll serve two to three schools daily as part of an itinerant team, collaborating with a fellow PT and a PTA.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Florida Physical Therapist license is required
• School-based experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory for consideration
• Experience providing both direct and indirect therapy to pediatric and adolescent populations is a plus
• Comfortable with traveling between assigned schools each day
• Strong organizational skills for managing compliance, documentation, and varied caseload
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
• Commitment to timely completion of all onboarding and credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions within educational settings for students K-12
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Serve two to three designated schools each day as part of a service team
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided
• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrative staff
• Participate in meetings and provide professional input centered on student success
