This contract position focuses on providing one-on-one and classroom assistance for an elementary-aged student with Autism, ensuring their needs are met in a substantially separate classroom environment. You will receive supervision from an experienced district BCBA, enabling you to develop your skills and contribute to lasting positive outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Previous experience working with children, especially in school or clinical settings
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data as directed
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families
  • Professional, patient, and compassionate demeanor

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct behavioral support and implement individualized intervention strategies for a student with Autism in an elementary classroom
  • Collaborate daily with the BCBA supervisor to ensure interventions are followed with fidelity
  • Assist in data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation as required
  • Foster a supportive and structured environment for students, adapting as their needs evolve
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other school personnel to ensure continuity of care
