Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Elementary General Education Certification (K-6) as recognized by the Alabama State Department of Education (credentials can be checked at https://tcert.alsde.edu/Portal/Public/Pages/SearchCerts.aspx)
• Prior experience teaching in general education or elementary settings is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for positive collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and community members
• Comfortable incorporating technology to enhance learning and prepare students for future success

Core Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a classroom environment that encourages learning, exploration, and personal growth
• Build positive, respectful relationships with each student while motivating them to develop essential skills, attitudes, and foundational knowledge
• Integrate 21st-century teaching tools and techniques to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and school partners to ensure student success
• Carry out additional assignments as directed by school leadership
