School Speech Language Pathologist - Plainfield, IL

Your role involves providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
• Experience in a school setting working with children or adolescents
• Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and managing caseloads
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Provide direct and consultative services, both one-on-one and in group settings
