Job Description

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum of one year of EC teaching experience required
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Thorough understanding of diverse learning needs and accommodations
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain positive, inclusive classroom environments
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs that align with students’ strengths and needs
- Deliver differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings
- Adapt teaching materials and strategies to ensure student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in parent/IEP meetings
- Foster supportive relationships with students and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student achievement
- Stay current with best practices in special education and comply with district requirements
