ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support a school district in Texas for the 2026–2027 school year. We are hiring for multiple full-time openings across middle and high school campuses. Candidates must meet the certification requirements outlined below.

Position Overview

The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services while collaborating with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering academic growth and creating an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support for students receiving special education services
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements

• Active Texas Special Education Teaching License
• Middle School: EC–12 Special Education Certification and 4–8 Core Certification
• High School: EC–12 Special Education Certification and 7–12 Core Certification
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
