In this flexible .2 FTE role, you'll devote just 8 hours each week—spread across two half days—to supporting a small caseload of 8-10 students. Your expertise helps pave the way for students' communication growth and academic success in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a dedicated caseload of 8-10 students across two half days each week
- Conduct screenings and ongoing assessments to help identify students' needs and measure progress
- Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school and state requirements
- Document sessions, progress, and maintain open communication with the multidisciplinary team and families
- Participate in meetings and help support students’ academic and social development through collaborative strategies
