Step into a meaningful role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a contract opportunity available for the 2026-2027 school year. Flexibility is key, as the position can be structured as either full-time or part-time to suit your needs, with a weekly commitment of up to 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.
What you’ll bring:
- Current Delaware SLP license (required at time of application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience delivering SLP services in school settings, including assessments and IEP development
- Comfort working with diverse student populations, including those with medical needs
- Willingness to provide therapy both onsite and to homebound students as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as part of their educational programming
- Provide direct support to homebound students, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet students’ individual needs in both school and home-based settings
- Maintain comprehensive records and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Flexibly respond to fluctuating caseloads throughout the academic year
