This position, located near Happy Valley, OR, is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. Work closely with approximately 25 students within a dedicated communication classroom program, delivering specialized support that helps each individual reach their fullest potential.

This role is structured for 20 hours per week, with the SLP scheduled to be on-site across two schools for four days each week. A strong sense of teamwork, organization, and empathy is essential to effectively collaborate with other professionals and nurture a positive environment for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC credential, or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) strongly encouraged to apply
  • Experience working in school settings with students receiving special education services preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassion for supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments as needed
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, educational staff, and families
  • Document student progress, maintain relevant records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each student
