K-8 Speech-Language Pathologist (School setting)
Job Description
Soliant has partnered with an educational community in Lancaster, CA, and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 26-27 school year.
The candidate will be covering several Leaves of Absence, and will be working with preschool to middle school students. An additional perk for this assignment is that candidates are approved for off-site work up to 5 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech Language Pathology Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly W2 pay of $67 to $82/hr, dependent on experience

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
- Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
- Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
- Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
- Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
- Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
