Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by supporting their well-being and academic progress as a school psychologist in the Hartford, CT area. Two contract positions are available for the upcoming school year, working onsite at high school and elementary levels. This is an engaging, hands-on opportunity to help create a positive school environment through expert psychological support and collaboration with educators and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and current Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment techniques, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and write clear, actionable reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on student support strategies
  • Develop and help implement interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention, as needed
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, RTI/MTSS process, and school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, confidential case records in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines

You’ll be working 35 hours per week in a meaningful contract role—either from August 27, 2026 to March 2027 at a high school, or from October 20, 2026 to January 18, 2027 at an elementary setting.
