Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current license or eligibility as an SLP in North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience serving school-aged children is a plus
  • Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy
  • Maintain thorough and accurate student records and progress notes
  • Consult with teachers and parents regarding students’ needs and treatment progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer support and resources to facilitate students’ academic and social success
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs
