\n As a Material Handler, you'll play an important role in keeping production running by making sure CNC machinists always have the materials they need. You'll receive raw materials, cut them to job-specific lengths, and deliver them to production. You'll also have the opportunity to earn your forklift certification while learning new skills in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.\n
Material Handler Duties:\n
    \n
  • Read job sheets and cut bar stock to custom lengths for production orders.
    • \n
  • Operate a CNC saw to prepare raw materials for machining.
    • \n
  • Operate a forklift (and become forklift certified if needed) to move materials into inventory and throughout the facility.
    • \n
  • Use a computer to track inventory and production jobs.
    • \n
  • Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
    • \n
Schedule:\n
    \n
  • Day Shift
    • \n
  • Monday through Friday
    • \n
  • 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • \n
Pay:\n
\n $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on your forklift experience.\n
Material Handler Requirements:\n
    \n
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing or forklift experience.
    • \n
  • Ability to use a tape measure and a computer.
    • \n
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • \n
  • Ability to work independently after training.
    • \n
