Job Description
Seeking a Housekeeping Lead for a Cold Food Warehouse located in Lewisville TX 75057
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm + OT Must be Flexible to work weekends and earlier shift times (5-day work week)
*Warehouse is open 365 days a year*
Summary
TheHousekeepingLeadis responsible foroverseeing the execution of facility production plans acrosshousekeepingteam. This role focuses on ensuring efficient workflow, operational excellence, and adherence to production standards.
PrincipalResponsibilities
Execute daily productionschedule/plans and meet operational goalsforhousekeepingteam
Identifyand prioritize housekeeping issues that couldcausefoodsafety risk
Supervise and ensure smooth production flowforhousekeepingteam
Count andmaintainPPE and chemicalinventory per JSOX requirements
Coordinate plan changes with supervisors and other departments
Support training, cross-training, and team development
Promoteand ensurepeople safety and food safety in production
Make real-time adjustments to staffingandschedules as needed
SupportQAsupervisorwith the improvement
Any other duties assignedbyQAsupervisors and QAManager.
Managementretainsthe discretion tomodifyor add dutiestothe position at any time when the need arises.
Position Requirements
Experience infoodmanufacturing environmentor similar work environment.
Reading,writingand speaking in Englishismandatory.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills
Ability to work weekends a MUST.
Be able to work at standing position incold conditions, <45F, forlong periods.
Goodproblem-solvingandmulti-tasking skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Experience working with USDA and FDA regulatory requirements and compliance processes
Knowledge and experience of HACCP and GMP
Ability to adapt to constant priority changes andmaintainflexibility.
