Sr. Material Cost Analyst $48 - $51/hr
Job Description
Adecco is seeking a Senior Material Cost Analyst for one of our preferred clients. The job details are as follows:
Responsible for planning, analyzing, and driving execution of material cost
Analyze Raw Material purchases and maintain accuracy and controllership of financials
Advise Operations and Business Unit Finance teams on material and develop and implement process improvement recommendations to drive efficiencies and cost visibility
Responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal clients (Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business Units and Sectors) and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards and Momentive’s internal financial policies
Responsible for analysis of monthly Inflation, variance vs Standard and financial reporting of logistics cost; budgeting process of material cost, quarterly forecasting, and ad hoc estimations;
Design and improve process/reporting of Raw Material cost and work with appropriate business partners to deliver on assigned project
Review and approve specific business transactions as determined by Momentive’s delegation of authority policy, in coordination with Operations Finance Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, and Sector and Business Unit Management teams
Basic Qualifications:
C.A/ MBA finance, accounting, business, or related field
Min. 4-5 years of progressive Finance experience as a Finance Analyst, Cost Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related role
Critical thinking and strategic mindset · Strong Material Cost Planning & Analysis, Financial analysis, Budgeting,
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment across different time zones
Fluency in English is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong working experience using SAP/Business Warehouse
Advanced MS Excel (Filters, Pivots, Dynamic Charts, Formulas, VLOOKUP, and MS PowerPoint experience
Working knowledge of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls including Sarbanes-Oxley Act; U.S. accounting rules and regulations including historical cost, revenue recognition, matching and full disclosure principles
Pay Details: $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
