Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (PEDS ER RN)

We’re seeking experienced and compassionate Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurses who thrive in high‐acuity, fast‐paced environments and are passionate about caring for infants, children, and adolescents. Schedule

• Per Diem
• 12‐Hour Shifts Only
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

• Triage, assess, and treat pediatric patients presenting with acute illness or injury
• Provide rapid stabilization and emergency nursing interventions
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments using weight‐based dosing
• Assist with pediatric emergency procedures and trauma response
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with pediatric emergency physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support and educate families during stressful and emotional situations
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and pediatric ER protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Pediatric ER or pediatric acute care RN experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• ACLS and/or ENPC preferred
• Strong pediatric assessment, triage, and critical‐thinking skills
• Ability to manage high‐acuity pediatric patients in a fast‐paced environment
• Calm, confident demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Family‐centered, compassionate approach to care
