We’re seeking skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapists for a 13‐week contract assignment supporting patients with acute and complex respiratory needs. If you thrive in high‐acuity environments and enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, this contract offers consistency, impact, and valuable experience.

Schedule

  • 13‐week contract
  • 3 shifts per week
  • 12‐hour shifts (7a or 7p) *high need for pm staff*

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various acuity levels
  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and respiratory treatments
  • Manage and monitor ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory support equipment
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis as required
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies, rapid responses, and code situations
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and equipment use
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care (hospital) Respiratory Therapy experience required
  • CRT or RRT credential required
  • BLS certification required (ACLS preferred depending on assignment)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‐thinking skills
  • Experience with ventilator management and high‐acuity patient populations
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
  • Flexibility and reliability for contract‐based scheduling
