Part-Time Leasing & Administrative Assistant
Location: Canton/Massillon Area, OH
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-3:00 PM or 12:00 PM-4:00 PM
Pay: $20-$21/hour

A growing residential property management company is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Leasing & Administrative Assistant to support apartment community operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has strong administrative skills, and is comfortable assisting with leasing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track phone calls, walk-in traffic, and leasing activity to support marketing and occupancy goals.
  • Assist with leasing processes, including application processing, credit checks, and income verification while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete leasing paperwork and perform accurate data entry.
  • Assist with lease signings and collection of initial rent and security deposit payments.
  • Communicate with new residents to ensure a smooth move-in experience.
  • Maintain resident files and associated records.
  • Answer resident inquiries, enter maintenance requests, and route service issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and visitors.
  • Answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Support collections efforts, distribute notices, assist with administrative projects, and provide general office support as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing experience is highly preferred.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with prospective residents and building relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
  • Ability to learn property management and leasing software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
