Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Dual certification required: Special Education and Elementary Education
- Experience working with elementary-age students strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with families, staff, and related service providers
- Flexibility and creativity in supporting students with varying needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to support elementary students’ academic and social-emotional learning
- Develop, monitor, and adjust IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters independence and growth
- Utilize data-driven strategies for student assessment and progress monitoring
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to maintain best practices in special education
- Communicate consistently with caregivers and school team to ensure student success
