Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience performing and assisting with interventional radiology procedures
  • Proficient with imaging equipment and safety protocols
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and patient care standards
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside physicians, nurses, and other staff
  • Valid state licensure and up-to-date BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality diagnostic images are captured
  • Support physicians during minimally invasive procedures, handling instruments, contrast, and assisting as needed
  • Practice strict adherence to aseptic and radiation safety protocols
  • Document procedures, imaging results, and patient information accurately
  • Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, responding swiftly to changes or emergencies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant procedure suite
