Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting high school students as an Educational Diagnostician for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time, on-site contract position (40 hours per week) for the 2026-2027 school year, located in the vibrant Cypress area. You’ll focus your expertise at the high school level, directly contributing to the academic and emotional success of students by performing vital diagnostic and evaluation services.
As a valued expert, you will collaborate closely with an ARD Specialist and other educational professionals to ensure appropriate services and accommodations for each student. Qualifications:
- Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification required
- Previous experience as an educational diagnostician within Texas public schools strongly preferred
- Willingness and ability to work in-person, 40 hours per week
- Must complete district background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to meeting the diverse needs of high school students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings for the assigned campus
- Interpret assessment data and provide meaningful recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and ARD Specialists to tailor strategies for student success
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
