Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ growth and well-being as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Located near Dearborn, MI, this onsite contract opportunity places your skills at the heart of elementary or middle schools, providing a blend of variety and impact across several school buildings.
This position features a flexible schedule with 20–30 hours per week, allowing you to maintain healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference. You’ll work directly with students, educators, and families, offering expertise and resources that help cultivate safe, positive, and productive learning environments.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working within elementary and/or middle school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to assessment and intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and challenges
- Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct intervention and counseling services to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support positive student outcomes
- Support schools’ RTI/MTSS frameworks through data-driven recommendations and interventions
- Champion wellness initiatives and promote mental health awareness throughout the school community
