Pharmacist - Sanford, FL

A growing specialty compounding pharmacy in DeBary, FL is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role supports an expanding business specializing in Weight Loss and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). The ideal candidate will bring compounding expertise and a collaborative spirit to help the pharmacy continue its growth and maintain high standards of patient care.

Location: DeBary, FL
Schedule: 1-2 days per week, 8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours of 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Assignment: Immediate start, ongoing contract with potential for permanent hiring

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and verification of compounded medications
• Ensure strict adherence to USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of pharmacy operations
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and pharmacy team members
• Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while supporting pharmacy expansion efforts

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Florida pharmacist license
• Demonstrated compounding experience, with knowledge of USP compounding guidelines
• Experience or interest in Hormone Replacement Therapy preferred
• Open to eager new pharmacy graduates with a strong desire to develop their skills
