As a Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with other educators and staff to deliver resource programs at both elementary and secondary levels, as well as work within a Secondary ASD classroom and an Elementary Targeted Intervention (TI) room. This role offers a full-time schedule at 40 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Special Education Teaching license (required)
- Expertise working with students in resource or specialized settings at elementary and secondary grade levels
- Familiarity with ASD classroom strategies and intervention room support
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Emergency certifications are not accepted
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Manage classroom routines and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Collect and report data on student outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed
- Support students with a range of educational needs, emphasizing growth and success
