Special Education Teacher in Lakeville, MN

As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to make a real difference, particularly within Setting 3 Autism programs at both primary and secondary levels. With three available positions, your expertise and dedication will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with unique needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Experience in Setting 3 Autism programs or comparable special education settings is preferred
• Strong ability to adapt to ever-evolving caseloads across multiple schools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to student growth, inclusion, and individualized instruction

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver support and accommodations tailored to meet each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster an encouraging and safe classroom environment that promotes learning for all students
